The Leading Edge Group are delighted to announce that Christian Buchsteiner, Process Design Coordinator - Center for Healthcare Improvement at
PeaceHealth,
has successfully completed the Lean Healthcare Green Belt program.

 

Christian’s assignment was based on the “client supplies management process” at his previous employer Oregon Medical Laboratories.

 

Oregon Medical Laboratories

is one of the largest independent non-profit medical and occupational testing laboratories in the Pacific Northwest.

 

“I enjoyed the whole program very much and it was built in a very lean, easy, efficient and effective manner”, stated Christian, “I very much enjoyed the great reference materials provided from a wide spectrum of healthcare applications and areas. This program by far exceeded my expectation and

Launch of a New Joint Lean Healthcare Education Initiative

The Leading Edge Group and The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver recently announced a new and unique Lean Healthcare Education initiative consisting of Lean Healthcare Green Belt and Black Belt Programs. Theses programs will be specifically aimed at preparing health professionals for managing change through process improvement across the global healthcare sector.

 

The Lean Healthcare Black Belt Program is the first of its kind in the world and is aimed at doctors, consultants, nurses, administrators, allied health professionals and other professionals in the healthcare sector. Scott McLagan, Executive Director of Executive and Corporate Programs at the

Daniels College of  Business is very enthusiastic about the programs. “The healthcare system worldwide has many challenges and we are committed to helping the organizations in this industry build new capabilities.
