October 26th was a historic day for Lean Healthcare in Ireland, when Lean Healthcare Services hosted the country’s first ever Lean Healthcare conference in Croke Park, Dublin. The conference, sponsored by Vhi – Ireland’s biggest healthcare insurer - attracted a large representation from across the Irish healthcare sector. Speakers represented a cross section of the healthcare community at home and abroad, and presented on a wide variety of topics from an introduction to Lean Healthcare through to international case studies demonstrating its successful implementation, and finally an interactive exercise on using Lean to manage demand and capacity in healthcare.
